The Second Middle-Eastern Materials Science Conference

Materials science is one of the most rapidly growing multidisciplinary fields of basic and applied research, with new advanced materials being the key to technological and societal development. Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates is where most of the research community in the UAE and the Middle East who work in both academia and industry in this field are located, and New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) relishes the opportunity to host this international conference and bring researchers in the field from around the globe together in Abu Dhabi. This conference is a biannual event and will act as a seed to establish New York University Abu Dhabi Center for Sustainability (NYUAD-CS).

The conference will cover oral and poster presentations from leading academic, industrial and regulatory experts in the domain of materials science from US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. While all speakers are invited, the event facilitates the engagement of post-doctoral fellows and students during poster sessions.

Organized by
Panče Naumov, Associate Professor of Chemistry, NYU Abu Dhabi
